L.A.S.T.
stands for Locate, Access, Stabilize, and Transport,
and represents the primary functions
of search and rescue operations and the resources used
to perform the SAR mission.
Since 1978, NASAR has been the premiere national organization
for search and rescue training. The NASAR Annual Conference
has been the place for search resources to gain the
most up-to-date, comprehensive training, and now NASAR
through the Southeast Texas SAR Alliance and Texas Center for the Missing is bringing that same dedication and quality
to the search and rescue community of the south central
states.
