Effective April 22, 2008, Texas Center for the Missing is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Jack Brandt to our Board of Directors. Technology Support CEO Jack Brandt has been involved in Houston’s technology industry for over 15 years. Prior to founding Technology Support in 1994, he was responsible for all microcomputing operations at Telecheck International and subsequently Vice President at NetConnect systems, a Houston-based Value Added Reseller. Mr. Brandt has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
In addition to his board membership with Texas Center for the Missing, Mr. Brandt is involved with several other organizations within the Houston community including the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, the International Association of Microsoft Certified Providers Partners, the Congregation Beth Yeshurun and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Mr. Brandt’s expertise with technology and its applications will be invaluable to the development and implementation of Texas Center for the Missing’s Internet safety programs. His leadership will be critical to Texas Center for the Missing’s next phase of programmatic growth and expansion.

Texas Center for the Missing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to offering help, and hope, to the missing and their families. As the administrator of the Houston Regional Amber Alert, Texas Center for the Missing trains law enforcement on the Amber Alert system and provides 24-hour support and consulting to law enforcement agencies in the 13-county region in and around Houston. Safety education programs are also offered to the community to prevent Internet lures and child abductions, including a S.A.F.E. child puppet show, missing child prevention for parents, and Internet safety for all ages.
